Sabina is on a mission to HELP YOU (and your people) become the ARCHITECTS of their own life.

As a psychologist, Sabina has a unique ability to disarm people by normalising their lived experiences.

She takes your struggles, fears, frustrations and challenges and makes them feel less overwhelming, less isolating, and less scary. Instead, you'll feel understood, connected, hopeful, empowered and equipped for change.

Now imagine having the opportunity to have someone like that representing your company or brand at your event, in the media, on your podcast or with your team at a location of your choice. Someone who can help you, your leaders, your teams, or your clients and customers navigate personal and professional challenges, overcome obstacles, and shift the stuckness that has prevented you and your people reaching their individual and collective goals.

Picture what kind of positive ripple effect that could create in your life, your business, your impact.

It all begins with a simple conversation.

Imagine being in a room with someone who truly gets you. Someone who has the expertise and skills to make sense of your experiences and help you feel seen and heard.

That person is Sabina Read.

A LOVE LETTER to leaders, CURIOUS HUMANS and companies everywhere

Hey, Sabina here.

We don’t have much space here, so I’m diving right in with my deepest belief – as humans, we all have the power to flourish if given the right support and tools.

That's what I want for you and your people - engaged and activated consumers, empowered teams, and inspired leaders who can push the boundaries of what’s possible for your brand, community or business.

Your people yearn for a sense of agency, to feel more content and in control of their lives. We often seek external sources for answers, but the truth is, with the right expert guidance, most people can dial up the changes, the desires, and the outcomes they want.

They just need the right conditions to tune in and honour their intuitive selves. I've seen it time and time again - in the right environment, in the spaces I create, people can find the growth, development, learning, and insights they crave. And just like that, relationships, performance, leadership and outcomes change.

They Human Better.

As a result, they can overcome imposter syndrome and negative self-talk. They feel better about themselves. And when people feel good about themselves, they become agents for positive change. In themselves and others.

I can’t wait to work with you and your people to reimagine and reinvent what’s possible.

Adventures of a CURIOUS SOUL

Sabina began her career in communications, specialising in public relations roles and consulting in Melbourne, San Francisco, and London. However, she soon realised she’d rather shift the dial on the way people live rather than just sell them things. This epiphany led Sabina to retrain in psychology.

It’s this powerful alchemy of communications and messaging together with psychological expertise and human behaviour insights—the barriers, the fears, the hurdles, the hiccups that stop people from creating the kinds of change they desire—that allows Sabina to step into your world and create positive change.

Ready to be part of that journey? Warning: It may change your life forever.

FAQs

Fun facts about Sabina

How does your background in psychology play a role in what you do?

The beauty of my offering is that I can apply human insights to a whole host of settings, businesses, organisations, services, and forums. My superpower is the ability to work with humans from any sector, as leaders or teams from any level of the organisation, and brands and groups wanting to create change or action. From lawyers to educators, finance professionals to real estate experts and everything in between, having access to the latest behavioural research and being able to make it relevant to whatever I’m talking about is my passion.

What’s something most people won’t know about you?

My nails are always meticulously painted in one of 2 colours: Lincoln Park After Dark or Step Right Up. They have been since I was 15 and will probably be until the day I die. Even nail polish can be a simple reminder of the light and shade of life and the different, and sometimes conflicting, parts that reside in each of us!.

What’s something that frustrates you?

Being put in a box! When people hear “psychologist” they immediately picture a therapist on a couch. My background in psychology informs my commentary, speaking, facilitation and spokesperson work, but I’m no longer taking new bookings for private clients in my clinical practice.

Where’s your happy place?

You’re going to laugh, I have a special rock that makes me feel very grounded. It’s down at Point Lonsdale, which kind of feels like a spiritual home. I'm very at peace there and love walking on the beach. We all have somewhere that anchors us, but for many the challenge is prioritising the simple salves that fill up our cup. And I’m no different!

Outside of your work, what do you love doing?

I’m an animal lover. I never tire of talking to (and learning from) my rescue border collie Macy and her half-cavalier, half jack russell brother Chino. They know how to let grudges go and how to live in the moment. They are natural teachers and the best company. And Macy rings a bell when she wants to go outside! I’ll show you the video if you ask!

I also believe the company of trusted friends, sunshine, walking, laughter, or tears and dancing are a cure for nearly all ills.

How can people get in touch about working with you?

Everything with me starts with a conversation. I don’t offer cookie-cutter keynotes and packages. I want to dive deep and understand what’s the pain point? What’s the issue? What are you trying to change in yourself, in your people, in your team, or your clients? I’m a natural collaborator and co-creator.

If that sounds like something that will help you achieve your desired outcome, then I’d love to invite you to reach out. I want that conversation, I welcome that conversation, I value that conversation.
